I made this portrait of Miitrei for lesson 6 of my Observational Drawing and Watercolor Portraiture course. Miitrei is a wonderful artist and friend from the Sktchy reference sharing community. As with all pieces in this series I start with coloured pencil and paint with watercolour. I love people and portraiture and using portraiture as a means of connection and understanding.
